ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.    Like to write?  Want to win a hundred bucks?  See Ms. Garrett about the St. Catharines Library's Fresh Ink competition.  We've won 3 years in a row--let's keep the tradition going!

 

2.    Need volunteer hours? PoultryFest is looking for volunteers to help with their BBQ on June 13th and PoultryFest on June 23rd. See the posting in the Guidance office for contact information.

Also, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will once again run its annual bottle drive to raise money in helping to find a cure for blood cancers. See the posting in the Guidance office for contact information.

 

3.    Canada’s Wonderland is finally here! We will be going on Thursday, May 24th. Please hand in your permission form and payment in the Guidance office.  Availability is first come, first served. Get your money in before it’s too late.

 

4.    Attention potential graduates – your 40 hours of community service is due to the guidance office by June 1st.  Get them done, get them handed in!

 

5.    Anime Club:  permission forms and money need to be returned to Mrs. Whitehead asap.

 

6.    Additional math help is available every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch. On Tuesdays, go to room 21 with Ms. Edwards and Thursdays, go to room 16 with Ms. Kovacevic.

 

7.    College Street School is looking for volunteers for their Fun Fair on Friday, May 25th .  Interested students are asked to sign up with Mrs. Cosby in the Main office.

 

8.    There will be a yearbook meeting next Tuesday, May 22nd at lunch in the library. Attendance is mandatory.

 

9.    There will be a girls slo-pitch practice at 11:35 am at the Fairgrounds next Tuesday, May 22nd.

 

10. A reminder to the boys soccer team of our exhibition game tonight against Beamsville. Be sure to let me know if you cannot make it. They are making great efforts to get here for a good game.

 

11. The Junior Reach Team was very successful yesterday, coming in 6th out of 12 teams. Congratulations Drake, Liam, Alex and Dakota. Look out Madame Netherway - your new senior team is all ready for next year!
